About the Setting
You’ll join a well-established manufacturing environment with a strong focus on product innovation, tooling excellence and continuous improvement. This is a fully on-site role, working closely with production, suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams.
The Role
- Lead manufacturing process development from concept through to SOP
- Manage injection mould tooling from design review through to production release
- Develop assembly processes, jigs, fixtures and production-ready solutions
- Apply DFM/DFA principles to support Right First Time launches
- Support APQP, PFMEA, control plans and NPD stage gate activity
- Work closely with suppliers, quality and supply chain teams
Requirements
Essential- Strong injection mould tooling experience (design review, trials, supplier management)
- Knowledge of injection moulding processes and tooling construction
- Manufacturing engineering experience in NPD/NPI environments
- Understanding of APQP, PFMEA and control plans
- CAD capability (NX / SolidWorks or equivalent)
- Exposure to Mouldflow or Boothroyd Dewhurst tools
- Knowledge of IATF16949 environments
- Experience with high-volume assembly systems
