Warehouse FLT Operative Location: Worcester

We have an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing business during a period of significant change. Having just moved to Worcester, our client is looking to grow their team! Our client has relocated from Dudley to a brand-new, purpose-built facility in Worcester and is looking for reliable and motivated Warehouse FLT Operatives to become part of their team. This is a fantastic time to join the business, as you will play a key role in supporting their growth and transition into this state-of-the-art facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Movement: Safely move products from the production area from delivery to warehouse using FLT, ensuring correct documentation and accurate stock levels.
  • Stock Accuracy: Ensure that stock received from production matches the paperwork and is stored in the correct location within the warehouse. Report discrepancies immediately to supervision.
  • Loading & Dispatch: Confirm transport details for outgoing orders, ensuring accurate paperwork and correct product handling. Follow all dispatch procedures for both dedicated and next-day collections.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.

Skills & Requirements

  • Understanding of warehouse systems, commercial invoicing, transport processes, and production orders.
  • 2 tonne Reach Truck & 3 tonne Counterbalance licence (essential).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong computer literacy is essential for managing warehouse systems and documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a proactive, team-oriented approach.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.

Salary: £14.84 per hour

Hours of Work

  • Pattern One - Monday to Thursday 7am - 3:30pm / Friday 7am - 2:30pm
  • Pattern Two - Monday 11:30am - 7pm / Tuesday to Friday 10:30am - 7pm
