We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join the FP&A team. This is a high-impact role where you will work closely with senior stakeholders, providing critical financial insights that drive strategic decision-making across the business. You will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis, acting as a trusted advisor to leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Partnering
- Collaborate with senior leaders to understand financial requirements and provide tailored support
- Act as a trusted advisor, delivering insight and recommendations based on robust financial analysis
- Lead cross-functional discussions on performance and strategic initiatives
- Reporting & Analysis
- Own monthly reporting for executive and board audiences
- Develop and maintain financial models to support planning and decision-making
- Deliver detailed analysis including variance reporting, KPIs, and trend insights
- Identify risks and opportunities and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Support the annual budgeting process, ensuring accuracy and challenge where appropriate
- Oversee forecasting cycles, ensuring timely and reliable updates
- Monitor performance against budget and provide actionable insights
- Process Improvement
- Drive improvements in financial planning and reporting processes
- Leverage systems and tools to enhance efficiency and insight
- Stay up to date with best practices in FP&A
- Strategic Support
- Support key projects and strategic initiatives with financial analysis
- Build business cases for investment decisions
- Contribute to procurement and value-for-money initiatives
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) - essential
- Relevant degree - desirable
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in FP&A or a similar role
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel skills (including data analysis tools and macros)
- Experience with reporting tools (e.g. Power BI)
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making
- Familiarity with systems such as SAP, Salesforce, or Jira (desirable)
