About the Organisation

Our client is a charity supporting people experiencing homelessness and severe disadvantage, providing practical support, specialist interventions and compassionate, person‑centred services. Their work includes day centre provision, outreach, housing support, harm reduction, and partnership‑based health and wellbeing services.

Main Purpose of the Role

A pivotal role providing high-quality executive and administrative support to the CEO and wider corporate team, enabling effective day‑to‑day functioning of strategic, governance and operational activities. You will act as a trusted coordinator of internal and external relationships, anticipating needs, streamlining communications and overseeing HR administration.

Main Duties

  • Executive & Leadership Support: Provide comprehensive PA support to the CEO, managing priorities, communications and diary with sound judgement and discretion. Act as a trusted point of coordination between the CEO, Board, senior leaders and external stakeholders. Handle confidential information with integrity and manage enquiries directed to the CEO or corporate team.
  • Governance & Board Support: Plan, organise and support Board and committee meetings, including agenda preparation, minute‑taking and action tracking. Support the Chair and Company Secretary with statutory registers, AGM organisation and compliance filings.
  • Business Administration: Support effective use of SharePoint, MS Teams and Office 365 across the organisation. Manage HR records, office supplies and operational policies, drafting and updating governance documents as needed.
  • Team & Values: Champion equality, diversity and inclusion and act as a positive organisational ambassador. Contribute to continuous improvement and a safe, collaborative working environment.

Working Relationships

Internal: CEO, Board of Trustees, Corporate Team, Service Managers, Staff, Volunteers. External: Contractors, Partners, Local Authorities.
