What is on Offer

  • £30,000 per year salary
  • Full-time position: 40 hours per week, 08:30 - 16:30 (flexible)
  • Stable office-based role to support approx 9-12 months maternity leave cover

Your Responsibilities

As a Business Development Manager, you'll play a key role in driving business growth by:

  • Making outbound sales calls and developing new business opportunities
  • Meeting with clients and delivering engaging presentations
  • Preparing and following up on quotations, proposals, and sales contracts
  • Building strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Managing customer enquiries and providing excellent service
  • Achieving sales targets and contributing to company growth
  • Keeping CRM records accurate and up to date
  • Supporting the sales team with administrative tasks
  • Managing customer databases and filing systems
  • Handling incoming calls, emails, and customer correspondence
  • Assisting with invoicing, purchase orders, and general office administration

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 1 year's experience in sales, business development, account management, or a similar role
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confident on the phone and in face‑to‑face meetings
  • Flexible with an interim contract to cover maternity leave for 9-12 months
  • Organised, proactive, and target‑driven
  • Strong administration and computer skills
  • Experience using CRM systems is advantageous
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
