Warehouse Operative
Location: Hartlebury Trading Estate
Salary: £12.81p/h
Hours: 08:00 - 16:30, Monday to Friday (30-minute lunch break)
The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy Warehouse & Logistics team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and hardworking individual to support the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, ensuring stock is handled efficiently and service levels are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and preparing orders for dispatch accurately and on time.
- Receiving deliveries and unloading stock safely.
- Loading and moving stock using a Counterbalance FLT.
- Ensuring stock is stored correctly and rotated where required.
- Managing returns accurately and efficiently.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment.
- Carrying out stock control and inventory-related tasks.
- Using warehouse systems, Microsoft applications and tablets when required.
- Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Strong communication skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Good numerical and organisational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Honest, reliable and hardworking approach.
Desirable:
- Previous warehouse and stock control experience.
- Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, 14001 or 18001.
Qualifications
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence desirable.
