My client is a well-established and growing engineering business specialising in the manufacture, maintenance, and refurbishment of specialist vehicles. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join their workshop team in Kidderminster.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical experience looking to develop their skills within a varied and hands-on engineering environment. Full product training will be provided.
Responsibilities:- Carrying out fault finding and repairs on specialist vehicles
- Completing refurbishment and maintenance work
- Undertaking welding repairs as required
- Ensuring all work is completed to company standards and deadlines
- Completing relevant maintenance and service documentation
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety within the workshop
- Mechanical experience within commercial vehicles, HGVs, plant, automotive, or similar engineering environments
- Experience with welding repairs advantageous
- Knowledge of vehicle electrics and hydraulics beneficial
- Full UK driving licence essential
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn and develop
