My client is a well-established manufacturer operating within a fast-paced production environment. They are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support continuous improvement initiatives, optimise manufacturing processes, and help deliver high-quality products to customers.
The Role
- Design, implement and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Analyse production data to identify trends, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement
- Lead projects focused on process optimisation, automation, and product development
- Support maintenance and performance of manufacturing equipment
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Design and Procurement teams to improve operational performance
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with quality, safety and industry standards
Requirements
- Essential
- Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Previous experience in a Manufacturing Engineer or similar role
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production equipment
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and project management skills
- Proficiency with CAD software
- Experience working with injection moulding processes and equipment
- Desirable
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma certification
- Experience with automation and robotics
- Knowledge of ERP and manufacturing software systems
- Understanding of materials science and engineering principles
