The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will support the management and performance of a portfolio of electrical products, using data, market insight and collaboration with sales and customers to drive commercial outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the management of products throughout their lifecycle
- Analysing pricing, sales and demand data to identify trends and opportunities
- Assisting with stock and sales forecasting using input from sales, marketing and market analysis
- Supporting pricing reviews and price positioning versus competitors
- Working closely with customers, sales, technical, purchasing and stores teams
- Assisting with market and competitor research
- Helping to create product marketing plans, presentations and collateral
- Supporting sales teams with product information, training materials and webinars
- Monitoring product sales performance and producing reports
- Collating feedback from customers and sales teams
- Maintaining accurate customer and sales data using company systems
Requirements
- This role could be ideal for a graduate or junior candidate looking to develop a career in product, pricing or commercial analysis.
- A degree in a business, engineering, data, marketing or analytical discipline
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Confidence working with data and Excel
- An interest in pricing, product performance and market analysis
