We are recruiting for a Finance Administrator / Accounts Administrator to join a well-established international manufacturing business in Ross-on-Wye on a 12-month temporary assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with administration or finance support experience who wants to broaden their skills within a busy and supportive finance department. You'll work alongside an experienced team of nine, supporting a wide range of finance processes and gaining valuable exposure across multiple areas of accounts and administration.
The Role
As Finance Administrator, you will help keep the finance function running smoothly by processing transactions, maintaining accurate records, supporting reporting activities, and assisting colleagues across the wider finance team. This is a varied role offering hands‐on experience in accounts administration, invoice processing, reconciliations, expense management, and finance systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Process employee expenses and maintain accurate financial records.
- Support payment preparation and finance documentation.
- Update internal finance systems and databases.
- Assist with account reconciliations and data validation checks.
- Support month‐end administration and reporting activities.
- Process invoices and finance‐related paperwork.
- Maintain contract and agreement records.
- Respond to internal finance queries and provide administrative support.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple finance disciplines.
- Support ad hoc finance projects, reporting, and continuous improvement activities.
What We're Looking For
