Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 3:30pm, Friday: 7:30am - 2:30pm

Pay: Starting salary of £26,551 per year

Are you an experienced Production Operative, Machine Operator, Manufacturing Operative or Process Operator looking for a secure, long‑term role in a highly regulated manufacturing environment? We are recruiting a number of Process Operatives to join a well‑established manufacturing site in Kidderminster, manufacturing specialist MOD (Ministry of Defence) equipment. This is a hands‑on, responsible role with clear procedures and strong health & safety standards.

Your duties will include:

  • Operating and monitoring powder plant and manufacturing machinery
  • Working with specialist MOD equipment in line with strict operating procedures
  • Manufacturing and processing materials to approved methods and quality standards
  • Safe handling of powder-based and chemical materials (full PPE and training provided)
  • Completing accurate production and batch records
  • Reporting machine faults or process issues to Cell Leaders / Supervisors
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and compliant work area
  • Adhering to all health & safety, compliance and site regulation

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, production, factory or industrial environments
  • Experience as a Production Operative, Machine Operator, Process Operative or Plant Operator
  • Confidence working in regulated or safety‑critical environments
  • Experience handling chemicals or hazardous materials (beneficial but not essential)
  • A reliable, professional attitude and strong attention to detail
  • Good awareness of health & safety procedures
  • Full training will be provided for site‑specific equipment and processes
