Powder Coater
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Powder Coater to join a well-established manufacturing business. This role is ideal for a hardworking and quality-focused individual with previous powder coating experience who takes pride in delivering a high standard of finish across a variety of metal products.
Working within a busy production environment, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying powder coatings, and ensuring all finished products meet strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, clean and inspect surfaces prior to powder coating.
- Apply powder coatings to a range of products including steel, aluminium and other metals.
- Ensure coatings are applied accurately and consistently to achieve a high-quality finish.
- Carry out surface preparation work in line with company procedures and specifications.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Support other production activities as required.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience working as a Powder Coater is essential.
- Good knowledge of powder coating processes and techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work to specifications.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting materials and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good awareness of health and safety within a manufacturing environment.
