If you are a natural leader who thrives in a small, close-knit team, our client is looking for an Operations Manager who can lead by example. Supporting the day-to-day business operation, including the warehouse function, you will bring energy, structure, and creativity to a growing, mission-driven company.
This is not purely a desk-bound role as you'll be as comfortable on the warehouse floor as you are managing suppliers, logistics, and cross-functional projects. The whole team gets involved! You'll take ownership of operations, champion efficiency, and help shape the future of the business.
What You'll Be Doing:- Overseeing day-to-day operations, including the small but very busy warehouse and providing hands-on support to the team.
- Monitoring stock levels, ensuring smooth inbound/outbound logistics, and maintaining an organised, safe environment.
- Building strong relationships with suppliers and partners, solving operational challenges proactively.
- Collaborating across teams, supporting finance, product development, and other key areas.
- Managing office and facilities, compliance, IT, and vendor relationships with precision.
- Leading improvement initiatives, implementing processes, and making things run better, faster, and smarter.
- A confident, hands-on leader who inspires and works alongside the team.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills - someone who sees the detail and the bigger picture.
- Flexibility and adaptability - ready to tackle a variety of operational challenges.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive mindset with a practical, can-do approach.
- Be part of a passionate, supportive small team where your impact is visible every day.
- Shape operations in a company that genuinely values quality, care, and the wellbeing of its customers (and their dogs!).
- A flexible part-time schedule with variety in every week.
- A culture that encourages hands-on leadership, initiative, and collaboration.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a busy, hands-on environment, leads by example, and genuinely enjoys being part of a small, dynamic team.
