The Role
We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Droitwich. This role would suit a Maintenance Engineer, Multi-Skilled Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer, Site Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Engineering Technician, Maintenance Technician, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Plant Engineer, Factory Engineer, Production Engineer or Multi-Skilled Technician with experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
You will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, breakdown support and continuous improvement across site equipment. The role will involve working with electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems to keep production running efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults
- Work from electrical, mechanical and pneumatic drawings
- Support corrective and condition-based maintenance
- Identify improvements to equipment, processes and reliability
- Support continuous improvement and FMEA activity
- Work closely with production teams to reduce downtime
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A recognised engineering apprenticeship
- Experience in maintenance engineering within manufacturing
- Strong electrical skills and good mechanical knowledge
- ONC, HNC or equivalent engineering qualification
- HNC in Electrical Engineering preferred, although mechanical qualifications with strong electrical competence will be considered
- Automation or continuous improvement experience would be beneficial
- IOSH or NEBOSH would be advantageous but is not essential
