Overview
Materials & Documentation Engineer – Worcester. Competitive salary. My client is a well-established engineering company that designs, manufactures and supplies a range of bespoke products. As a Materials & Documentation Engineer, your role will work within the existing Engineering Team and alongside the Supply Chain to maintain BOMs and review materials & products.
Responsibilities
- Assess historical BOMs for product viability
- Capture and report on all product related issues
- Liaise with the OEM and Supply Chain to identify alternative solutions
- Maintain all live BOMs within the ERP system
- Support the test and validation of all alternative / new products
Experience / Qualifications
- Degree, HNC, HND, Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in engineering would be beneficial
- Must be skilled in preparing technical reports and presentations
- Experience of using engineering documentation such as technical drawings and records
- Excellent communication skills are essential
- Must be a team player
