About the Setting

My client is a well-established manufacturer operating within a fast-paced production environment. They are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support continuous improvement initiatives, optimise manufacturing processes, and help deliver high-quality products to customers.

The Role

  • Design, implement and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Analyse production data to identify trends, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement
  • Lead projects focused on process optimisation, automation, and product development
  • Support maintenance and performance of manufacturing equipment
  • Work closely with Production, Quality, Design and Procurement teams to improve operational performance
  • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with quality, safety and industry standards

Requirements

Essential
  • Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Previous experience in a Manufacturing Engineer or similar role
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production equipment
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and project management skills
  • Proficiency with CAD software
  • Experience working with injection moulding processes and equipment
Desirable
  • Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma certification
  • Experience with automation and robotics
  • Knowledge of ERP and manufacturing software systems
  • Understanding of materials science and engineering principles
