Accounts Assistant/ Bookkeeper Part Time - 20-25 hours per week Hybrid
Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking for a varied, fast paced role within a friendly and collaborative accountancy firm? This role is ideal for someone with bookkeeping experience who enjoys working with a varied client portfolio and is looking to develop their skills within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Processing invoices, income, and receipts and entering data into accounting software
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Producing financial statements showing business income and expenditure
- Assisting with additional accounting duties as required
- Handling incoming telephone calls and emails
- Previous bookkeeping experience preferred, particularly using Xero and Sage (training available for the right candidate)
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent administrative and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines
- Friendly, professional, and proactive attitude
- Full-time or part-time hours considered
