Our client is currently recruiting for an Imports Co-ordinator to join a busy operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with administration, logistics, imports, exports or supply chain experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing multiple priorities.

As an Imports Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end import process, ensuring products arrive on time and all documentation is completed accurately. Working closely with forwarding agents, suppliers and internal teams, you will play a key role in maintaining efficient stock movement and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing and updating purchase and sales order information on internal systems.
  • Maintaining accurate shipment records, including ETD and ETA updates.
  • Checking and preparing import documentation to meet UK and EU import requirements.
  • Managing port and duty clearance processes to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Liaising with freight forwarders, suppliers and cold storage facilities.
  • Coordinating product arrivals and ensuring goods are released and delivered on schedule.
  • Arranging bond clearances and supporting customs compliance activities.
  • Completing stock reconciliations and investigating discrepancies.
  • Maintaining accurate records and providing administrative support to the imports function.

To be successful in this role, you will be a proactive and organised individual with strong administrative and communication skills.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience within a similar administration role.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work accurately while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload.
  • Good IT and computer literacy skills.
  • Supply chain or logistics knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential
