Data Support Administrator

Location - Malvern (hybrid after probation)

Salary £27,000 + excellent benefits

Our client is looking for a Data Support Administrator to join their Responsible Resourcing team and provide essential support to the Manager on a day to day basis. This is a varied role that combines administration, data management, research and project support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working with information, solving problems and helping others stay organised.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong administrator who is confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and has a natural curiosity for topics such as sustainability, environmental initiatives, compliance and changing legislation. You'll gain exposure to a wide range of business activities while developing valuable skills in reporting, research and data management.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing and maintaining key company databases, ensuring information is accurate and up to date
  • Collecting, organising and monitoring data from a variety of internal and external sources
  • Working with colleagues across multiple departments to support reporting requirements
  • Liaising with suppliers to gather information and documentation
  • Supporting the preparation of reports, presentations and business updates
  • Conducting research into industry topics, regulations and emerging trends
  • Assisting with ongoing projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Providing general administrative support to the Responsible Sourcing team

This is a genuinely interesting and varied position where you'll work closely with an experienced manager and gain exposure to a wide range of business‑critical activities. You'll have the opportunity to develop your skills in data analysis, reporting, research and compliance, while building knowledge in areas such as sustainability, responsible sourcing and industry legislation.

We are looking for:

  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large volumes of data
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to gather, analyse and present information clearly
  • A proactive and motivated approach with a willingness to learn
  • Interest in environmental, sustainability, compliance or regulatory topics would be advantageous
