  • Our client is seeking a
  • Accountant / Management Accounts Assistant to join their EMEA Finance team on a

3-month fixed-term contract .

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional who can quickly become productive, take ownership of their workload and support a busy finance function through a key transition period.

Working in a hybrid role , you'll be responsible for a mix of finance operations and management accounting activities across multiple legal entities, whilst building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Process Accounts Payable invoices using SAP and VIM workflows.
  • Manage the AP inbox and resolve supplier and internal queries.
  • Maintain supplier master data.
  • Administer company credit card and expense processes.
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Process intercompany recharges and allocations.
  • Support month-end close activities and reporting deadlines.
  • Follow up approvals, expense claims and outstanding actions.
  • Liaise with stakeholders across the business to obtain information and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Support the wider finance team with ad hoc activities as required.

About You

  • Previous experience in a Finance Assistant, Assistant Accountant or Management Accounts role.
  • Strong SAP experience, ideally SAP S/4HANA and VIM.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Experience supporting month-end processes.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive, self-motivated and willing to take ownership of tasks.
  • A quick learner who is comfortable asking questions and using initiative.

You'll be confident following up stakeholders for information and approvals, whilst maintaining a professional and collaborative approach.
