A growing technology business based in Hereford is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join their team, providing hands‐on support across a range of systems, users and technologies. This is a fully on‐site role where you'll be a key part of the internal IT function, supporting users, maintaining systems and helping to keep day‐to‐day operations running smoothly.

The role:

  • Providing 1st and 2nd line support, acting as a key point of contact for IT queries and ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Providing helpdesk support and managing incoming IT tickets.
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software and user issues.
  • Supporting Microsoft 365 environments (including email and user management).
  • Working with Active Directory / Azure AD.
  • Assisting with system configuration, installation and testing.
  • Monitoring systems and supporting network operations.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and ticket updates.
  • Supporting users with varying levels of technical ability.
  • Assisting with IT equipment, asset tracking and general administration.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and supporting wider business needs.

You’ll also have the opportunity to get involved in new technologies, system improvements and ongoing projects.

About you:

  • Previous experience in an IT support / service desk role.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across desktop and user environments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory (or Azure AD).
  • Good communication skills and a user‐focused approach.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Organised, adaptable and comfortable in a fast‐paced environment.
  • Any experience with networking tools, security systems or monitoring platforms would be beneficial, but not essential.
