Covering the geographical area of Devon and Cornwall, Dorset, Somerset, South Gloucestershire, this Field Sales position requires a tenacious and self-motivated individual who can apply their excellent communication, compassionate and relationship building skills to build upon existing client relationships as well as sourcing new business. This role could suit clinicians wishing to diversify their career or sales professionals with a relevant vested interest.
You will be working for a well-established company who is passionate about delivering an exceptional level of service to its customers and who are the market leaders in postural care and management. Following a fully comprehensive training and work shadowing programme, you will become an expert in the products you are selling and confident in liaising with clients including healthcare professionals, special education establishments and end users. An empathetic and consultative approach as well as a strong aptitude for developing business is essential for this role.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Developing and building upon existing relationships
- Sourcing new leads in order to achieve sales targets
- Managing own diary and responding to customer communications promptly
- Becoming a product expert and being able to fully demonstrate the full product portfolio to clinicians, carers, families and end users
- Display expertise in clinical assessment and explanation of products
- Representing the business, its products and services at trade events
- Accurately using and updating the CRM system
- Completing market research and analysis as required
Skills and experience:
- Previous experience in either a consultative sales role or a background in physiotherapy / NHS / Healthcare
- Experience of working with clinicians, SEN schools, carers, healthcare professionals etc. preferred
- An exceptional relationship builder
- Excellent listening skills
- Strong presentation skills
- A self-starter who can manage own time, diary and journey planning
- Organised and confident at managing own administration
- Naturally proactive with a willingness to build on existing skills and experience
- An empathetic approach
Candidates need to live within easy access of Devon and Cornwall, Dorset, Somerset, South Gloucestershire.
Salary is cΒ£35 - Β£40k (depending on experience) + OTE + Company Van + laptop and phone.
