Service Administrator

Are you an experienced Administrator with strong customer service skills and experience using ERP systems?
We're recruiting for a highly organised and detail-focused Service Administrator to join a growing and supportive service team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with complex processes, solving problems, supporting customers and keeping systems accurate and up to date.
This role is initially to provide maternity cover, however the business is growing and there may be further opportunities available for the right person.
The Role
Working within a busy Service Department, you will play a key role in supporting engineers, customers and colleagues while ensuring the company's ERP system (IFS) remains accurate and up to date.
You will be responsible for managing service administration activities, processing information, supporting customer enquiries and helping the team maintain excellent service levels as the business continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining and updating the ERP system accurately
- Managing and updating equipment records, customer details and service information
- Supporting the administration of service contracts and ensuring work is scheduled correctly
- Assisting customers with enquiries and helping resolve service-related issues
- Processing orders, quotations and service documentation
- Booking appointments and coordinating support activities for engineers
- Ordering spare parts and chasing outstanding deliveries
- Supporting colleagues across the service team during periods of holiday or absence
- Learning the company's products and equipment to assist with fault diagnosis and customer queries
- Producing reports and analysing information when required
What We're Looking For
We would love to hear from candidates with experience in:
- Service Administration
- Customer Service Administration
- ERP systems such as IFS, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Sage, NetSuite or similar
- Service Coordination or Customer Support
- Order Processing
- Scheduling or Planning Support
- Technical Administration
You'll be successful in this role if you are:
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail

- Adaptable and willing to support different areas of the team
- Proactive and able to manage your own workload

Experience producing reports in Excel would be advantageous but is not essential.

Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30am to 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:30am to 4:30pm
- 1-hour lunch break
- 37 hours per week
