We are supporting a growing international business based in Ledbury, who are looking for a Systems Data Developer to join their technical team. This is a varied role supporting the development, maintenance and reporting of data within the company’s ERP system, which is used across sales, manufacturing and wider business analysis. This role would suit someone with a good understanding of data, datasets and data models, who enjoys working with different departments to turn business requirements into useful reports, dashboards and data tools.

The role

As Systems Data Developer, you will help manage, maintain and report on data held within the company’s ERP system. You will create and maintain reports, data views, Power BI outputs, KPIs and business intelligence tools, while also supporting Excel‑based tools and sales configurators. You will work closely with different internal teams to understand reporting needs, improve existing processes and ensure useful, accurate data is available to support decision‑making.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain and report on data held within the ERP system
  • Create data views, data objects, BI reports, Power BI reports, homepage widgets and KPIs
  • Work across data, logic and presentation layers within the system
  • Produce and maintain Excel tools that support ERP processes
  • Create, maintain and improve sales configurators, both online and in Excel
  • Work with departments including Sales, Production, Finance and Animal Welfare to deliver useful reports and BI analysis
  • Manage data in SQL staging databases feeding Power BI workspaces
  • Maintain and update an integrated document management system linked to the ERP environment

About you

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • A good understanding of data, datasets and data models
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to work well as part of a team
  • A self‑motivated approach and willingness to develop further technical skills
  • An interest in ERP systems, reporting, Power BI, SQL or business intelligence tools

Experience with Power BI, SQL, ERP systems, data analysis, reporting, BI development or advanced Excel would be beneficial, but attitude, attention to detail and a willingness to learn are also important. This could suit someone currently working as a Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst, BI Analyst, Systems Analyst, ERP Analyst, Excel Analyst, Power BI Analyst or Systems Developer.
