Junior IT Support
Location: Dudley Area - On-site
Salary: Up to £26,000 depending on experience
Role Overview:
We\'re looking for a hands-on IT Support Administrator to provide first-line support across the business. Working closely with the IT Team Leader and wider technical team, you\'ll play a key role in maintaining network integrity, supporting desktop users, and contributing to infrastructure projects. This is an on-site role involving a broad range of technical responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver 1st line support to internal users, resolving desktop and infrastructure-related issues
Install, maintain, and upgrade hardware and software
Support systems including databases, telecoms, security, and service desk tools
Maintain and enforce IT policies and processes, contributing to continuous improvement
Document tasks and support activity via the internal service desk system
Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery planning
Occasionally support projects and technical initiatives outside of BAU
What We\'re Looking For:
1-5 years\' experience in a similar IT support role
Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, network infrastructure, and desktop support
Confident communicator with strong customer service skills
Able to prioritise and manage tasks independently
Desirable Skills:
IT-related degree or professional certifications (e.g. Microsoft)
Familiarity with SLAs, technical documentation, and process compliance
Additional language skills
