Junior IT Support

Location: Dudley Area - On-site
Salary: Up to £26,000 depending on experience

Role Overview:
We\'re looking for a hands-on IT Support Administrator to provide first-line support across the business. Working closely with the IT Team Leader and wider technical team, you\'ll play a key role in maintaining network integrity, supporting desktop users, and contributing to infrastructure projects. This is an on-site role involving a broad range of technical responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1st line support to internal users, resolving desktop and infrastructure-related issues

  • Install, maintain, and upgrade hardware and software

  • Support systems including databases, telecoms, security, and service desk tools

  • Maintain and enforce IT policies and processes, contributing to continuous improvement

  • Document tasks and support activity via the internal service desk system

  • Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery planning

  • Occasionally support projects and technical initiatives outside of BAU

What We\'re Looking For:

  • 1-5 years\' experience in a similar IT support role

  • Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, network infrastructure, and desktop support

  • Confident communicator with strong customer service skills

  • Able to prioritise and manage tasks independently

Desirable Skills:

  • IT-related degree or professional certifications (e.g. Microsoft)

  • Familiarity with SLAs, technical documentation, and process compliance

  • Additional language skills
