About the Role

We are seeking a Sales & Service Administrator to join our clients team. Our client specialises in the sale, service, and calibration of contamination control instrumentation, serving diverse industries including pharmaceutical, electronics, semi-conductor, automotive, and medical devices. This is an excellent opportunity to support our sales and service department in a varied administrative role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for customer telephone enquiries
  • Manage and maintain engineers' diaries and schedules
  • Generate quotes, invoices, and delivery notes
  • Coordinate imports and exports with international suppliers and customers
  • Process service bookings, create RMAs, and assign job numbers
  • Purchase instruments and components as required
  • Handle packing and unpacking of instruments and spare parts
  • Liaise with the accounts department to support company financial processes

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong communication skills with an excellent telephone manner
  • Proven customer service abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Previous administrative experience, ideally within a sales or service environment
  • Flexible approach to working practices
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English
