The Role
As an FLT Driver, you'll play an important role in keeping production running efficiently by safely transporting materials throughout the site. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating Counterbalance Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently
- Supplying raw materials to production
- Delivering packaging materials and production stock
- Transporting finished goods to the external storage area
- Booking finished goods into stock accurately
- Supporting recycling and waste management activities
- Carrying out daily FLT safety inspections and completing check sheets
- Working closely with warehouse, logistics and production teams
- Following all health and safety procedures
What We're Looking For
To be successful you'll have:
- A valid Counterbalance FLT Licence and recent practical driving experience
- Experience working within a warehouse, manufacturing or production environment
- A strong awareness of health and safety
- Good communication skills
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- A reliable, flexible and positive attitude
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
