Kidderminster | Office Based
Full Time | Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
£19.85 per hour
Are you experienced in employment law, workplace advice, legal casework or employee relations? We're looking for an Employment & Workplace Advisor to provide confidential, practical guidance to members on a range of employment and workplace issues.
The Role
You'll manage a varied caseload, providing advice by telephone, email and online. Similar to a Citizens Advice-style advisory role, you'll assess individual circumstances, explain employment rights and options, research legislation and provide clear, practical guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on UK employment law and workplace rights
- Deal with disciplinary, grievance, contracts, absence and workplace disputes
- Research legislation, ACAS guidance and best practice
- Explain complex legal information clearly to members
- Assess cases and recommend appropriate next steps
- Maintain accurate and confidential case records
- Identify when further specialist support is required
About You
Experience in employment law, legal advice, Citizens Advice, trade union services, employee relations or casework would be highly relevant.
You'll also have excellent communication, research and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and a professional, empathetic approach.
