My client is a well-established firm, manufacturing bespoke factory automation systems. We are seeking an experienced Fitter/Assembler to join an existing team, following a new investment and growth of the company.
You will work on various projects of building and installing automation equipment for different clients. You must have experience in industrial/manufacturing setting and you must hold British/EU passport as you will be required internationally, particularly to USA and Canada. Up to 40% of the role will be travelling to client sites, you must be prepared to stay away for up to 4 weeks on occasion.
Electromechanical Fitter/Installer Responsibilities:
- Assembly/installation of bespoke automation equipment
- Occasional travel to clients in UK and abroad
- Using hand and power tools
- Mechanical and electrical assembly
Electromechanical Fitter/Installer Requirements:
- 3+ years of solid experience in building industrial machinery
- Experience reading and following technical drawings
- Self starter with a can-do attitude
- Electrical experience is advantageous
- Willingness to travel
