Our client is looking for an organised and proactive Business Support Administrator to join their team and provide comprehensive administrative support across all areas of the business. This is a hands-on, varied role that will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including accurately processing sales orders, managing customer calls, generating invoices, checking consignments, and maintaining customer price lists. You will also undertake stock checks, complete export documentation, and monitor administrative dashboards to ensure that all orders are processed efficiently and accurately.
Some key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Accurately process sales orders and ensure timely order fulfilment
- Handle incoming customer calls and enquiries
- Generate invoices and check consignments
- Maintain and update customer price lists
- Carry out regular stock checks to maintain accuracy
- Complete export documentation as required
- Provide administrative support to the Sales Team
- Liaise with delivery companies to resolve any delivery queries
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative and customer service processes
You will work closely with the Sales Team, Warehouse staff, and delivery partners to ensure timely and precise deliveries. You will also have the chance to help improve customer service processes, support price list development, manage new product procedures, produce customer reports, and ensure compliance with key customer requirements.
Skills and experience required:
- Previous experience in a sales administration or business support role
- Confident in all Microsoft Office packages
- Experience using CRM or ERP systems advantageous
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A collaborative team player with a proactive, "can-do" attitude
