We're working with a specialist automation engineering company that designs, builds and installs bespoke factory automation systems for customers across the UK and internationally. Due to continued growth, they're looking to add an experienced Robotics Integration Engineer to their close-knit team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of innovative automation projects across industries including food & beverage and plastics, with regular travel to customer sites throughout the UK, Europe, the USA and Canada.
As a Robotics Integration Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering complete robotic automation solutions from concept through to installation and commissioning. Working alongside design and controls engineers, you'll be responsible for ensuring robotic systems are designed, programmed and integrated to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and program industrial robotic systems
- Integrate robots into complete automation solutions
- Manage projects from concept through to customer handover
- Install, commission and test systems on customer sites
- Fault find and service existing robotic installations
- Work closely with design and controls engineers
- Support and mentor colleagues where required
We're looking for someone with experience in robotics and industrial automation who enjoys solving technical challenges and working directly with customers. You’ll ideally have experience with:
- Industrial robots such as Fanuc, ABB, Kawasaki or Nachi
- Manufacturing or factory automation environments
- Industrial control systems and industrial networks
- Installing, commissioning and fault-finding robotic systems
- Experience with PLC programming, SCADA or project management would be an advantage.
You’ll also be:
- A confident problem solver with excellent attention to detail
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently
- A strong team player with great communication skills
- Happy to travel regularly, including overseas
- In possession of a full UK driving licence
- OTE £50,000-£70,000 (depending on experience)
- Regular travel to the USA and Canada with generous daily allowances and quality accommodation
