We’re recruiting for an Office Administrator to join a fast-growing specialist subcontractor within the construction sector, delivering high-quality project services across healthcare, education, and complex commercial projects. This is a key support role within a small, energetic team where organisation, communication, and attention to detail are essential. You’ll play a central part in keeping project documentation, compliance records, and office coordination running smoothly. This is not a traditional “general admin” role, it’s a construction-focused position where your work directly supports live project delivery. Responsibilities:

  • Construction & Project Administration
    • Manage and maintain project documentation across multiple live sites
    • Upload, track, and organise RAMS, H&S files, certifications, and compliance records
    • Maintain subcontractor, insurance, and training documentation
    • Support PQQs, tenders, and pre-construction submissions
    • Liaise with site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather required information
  • Office Coordination & Support
    • Provide day-to-day administrative support across the business
    • Manage calls, emails, and general office communications
    • Support leadership with scheduling, reporting, and document preparation
    • Help maintain a well-organised, efficient office environment
  • Quality & Health & Safety Support (Training Provided)
    • Assist with ISO 9001 documentation and systems
    • Support internal and external audit preparation
    • Maintain H&S records, logs, and training documentation
    • Develop knowledge of compliance and quality processes over time

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in construction, engineering, or contractor administration
  • Comfortable working with project documentation and compliance paperwork
  • Exposure to RAMS, H&S admin, or subcontractor coordination (desirable, not essential)
  • Strong IT and organisational skills
