Job Description
Production Manager
Location: Ledbury
Salary: Competitive Salary
My client is a well-established engineering company that designs, manufactures, and supplies a range of products. As a Production Manager, your role will focus on providing production leadership and management across two sites, health & safety, and ensuring that production targets are achieved.
Responsibilities
- Provide production leadership across two manufacturing facilities
- Ensure that Health & Safety procedures are put in place
- Develop & train all production staff and measure performances
- Ensure that all products meet design and client expectations
- Provide technical support to all production staff and the wider team
- Identify areas of improvement and lead continuous improvement activities
- Ensure that all production targets are achieved
Experience
- Previous experience working in a Production Manager or equivalent position
- Experience working within ISO9001 standards
- Implementing lean manufacturing techniques
- Experience in achieving production targets
- Experience using an ERP/MRP system would be beneficial
- Excellent communication skills are essential
- Must be a team player
