Job Description

Production Manager

Location: Ledbury

Salary: Competitive Salary

My client is a well-established engineering company that designs, manufactures, and supplies a range of products. As a Production Manager, your role will focus on providing production leadership and management across two sites, health & safety, and ensuring that production targets are achieved.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide production leadership across two manufacturing facilities
  2. Ensure that Health & Safety procedures are put in place
  3. Develop & train all production staff and measure performances
  4. Ensure that all products meet design and client expectations
  5. Provide technical support to all production staff and the wider team
  6. Identify areas of improvement and lead continuous improvement activities
  7. Ensure that all production targets are achieved

Experience

  1. Previous experience working in a Production Manager or equivalent position
  2. Experience working within ISO9001 standards
  3. Implementing lean manufacturing techniques
  4. Experience in achieving production targets
  5. Experience using an ERP/MRP system would be beneficial
  6. Excellent communication skills are essential
  7. Must be a team player
