Role Description
We are looking to expand our dynamic sales team at Huntingdon Timber and Roofing Supplies with a motivated and experienced Senior Sales Executive. You will play a key role in driving sales growth and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Your deep understanding of the building materials market, combined with your excellent communication skills, will ensure you can meet and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing client accounts.
- Prospect for new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Provide expert advice to customers on building materials, tools, and construction products.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with clients while ensuring profitability.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest industry trends, products, and competitors.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to clients.
- Report on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts to senior management.
Competitive Salary
Hours: 7am-5pm Mon-Fri, 7.30am-12pm alternate Saturdays
Holiday: 21 days per year plus Bank Holidays
