Hethersett Woodside Primary and Nursery School are delighted to be able to appoint 2 committed, enthusiastic, positive Teaching Assistants to join our large team. Hethersett Woodside has recently grown to full primary status, from its roots as a small infant school. Having recently moved into a brand new, state of the art building, the school has been gradually growing for a number of years and now is at capacity; with children from Nursery to year 6. This is a rare opportunity to join our fabulous, child focused team.

We would like to appoint 2 Teaching Assistants who will support across Key stage 1 or 2; working with individuals and groups of learners. Hours of work, 8.30am-3.30pm, Monday – Friday.

Candidate Profile

  • are well organised and able to use initiative
  • have good levels of written English and maths
  • have a sense of humour and positive outlook

Experience of supporting in a primary school would be an advantage, but is not essential as training will be given.
