Right now, we are looking for a Recovery Outreach Worker to play a pivotal role in our Homelessness Service in Ealing.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

You will be empowering a caseload of service users to manage their health and wellbeing, maintain their independence, identify their strengths and achieve their goals and aspirations, under the direction of the Service Manager.

Here\’s what the team will be looking for:

  1. Empower a caseload of service users to manage their health and wellbeing, maintain their independence, identify their strengths and achieve their goals and aspirations, under the direction of the Service Manager.
  2. Clearly articulate the aims and objectives, pathway and service model to people using the service so they can fully participate in and co-produce their support.
  3. Empower service users to engage effectively in their liaisons with professionals within the community such as community mental health teams, social work teams, housing providers, health professionals, Job Centre Plus etc.
  4. Develop co-produced group activities, peer support networks and other community-based approaches to empowering service users to achieve their goals and aspirations and to encourage service users to access these opportunities.
  5. Work flexibly as part of a team to ensure service coverage and that contractual obligations are met.
  6. Actively monitor the health, wellbeing, safety and security of the service and its users ensuring all concerns are followed up promptly and in line with procedures.
  7. Ensure that administration is done in good time; that detailed, concise and accurate records are created contemporaneously, and that confidentiality is appropriately maintained.
  8. Assist the Service Manager to manage health and safety, repairs and maintenance of the premises.
  9. Provide support to the Service Manager to manage voids across the service.
  10. Ensure referrals, assessments and service reviews are effective and timely.
  11. Empower service users to develop independent living skills as part of a planned move on process.
  12. Assist the Service Manager to plan, negotiate and manage budgets and to make best use of property, equipment and information technology.
  13. Carry out duties, in line with organisational policies and procedures.
