Our mission is to empower individuals to rebuild their lives and achieve independence. Right now, we are looking for a Pool Worker to play a pivotal role in our Recovery House in Medway.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

You will be co‑producing risk assessments, crisis plans, and safety plans with service users, their loved ones and professionals, while delivering person‑centred support that adapts to changing needs, strengths and progress. You will be supporting individuals to achieve outcomes around wellbeing, safety, economic stability and positive contribution, alongside managing crises, substance‑misuse risks and mental health relapses. You will also take on caretaking and housing‑management duties, conduct flat checks, maintain building security through health and safety checks, alarm and CCTV monitoring and regular patrols, and complete nightly cleaning tasks to ensure the environment remains safe, secure and well maintained.

You’ll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. You will be a people‑focused professional with strong interpersonal skills, able to build rapport quickly and create a supportive environment for clients in distress. You will be confident and calm during challenging conversations, experienced in crisis management and de‑escalation, and skilled at leading activities that promote wellbeing and relaxation. You will bring knowledge or experience of mental health support, including working with autistic individuals, and demonstrate compassion, empathy and a non‑judgmental approach. You will be committed to high‑quality, person‑centred care, supporting vulnerable individuals with patience while promoting dignity, inclusion and emotional safety.
