Our mission is to empower individuals to rebuild their lives and achieve independence. Right now, we are looking for a Pool Worker to play a pivotal role in our Mental Health service in Harrow.
Sounds great, what will I be doing?
You will be managing a caseload of service users with complex health and support needs, helping them maintain independence, build on their strengths and achieve personal goals in partnership with subcontractors and the wider team. You will provide dayâtoâday care in line with support plans, assist with activities, medication, and reviews, and actively monitor wellbeing, safety and security. You will carry out domestic and housingâmanagement tasks, complete risk assessments and audits, promote social networks, and work in a strengthsâbased, reciprocal way. You will maintain accurate records, follow organisational policies, contribute to service development, participate in supervision and training, and complete QCF learning within your first year.
What do I need to bring with me?
You will need to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. You will be bringing strong knowledge of mentalâillness signs, symptoms and treatments, with the ability to recognise declining mental health and respond appropriately. You will have a basic awareness of health and safety, be willing to cook, clean and provide personal care, and work flexibly across a rota including evenings, weekends and sleepâins. You will motivate service users toward independence, travel across services when needed, and maintain a serviceâuserâfocused approach. You will have good literacy, numeracy and IT skills, understand safeguarding responsibilities, use digital supportâplanning systems confidently, and demonstrate a clear commitment to equality, diversity and inclusive practice.
