Right now, we are looking for a Community Engagement Practitioner to play a pivotal role in our Mental Health Service in Enfield.
What will I be doing?
Working as part of a multidisciplinary NHS team, our practitioners help people build confidence, connect with their community, and move forward in their recovery journey. By offering one-to-one support, group activities, and access to local resources, the service focuses on what matters most to each individual—whether that’s building social connections, finding purpose, or learning new coping skills.
What do I need to bring with me?
- An NVQ Level 4 in Care (or equivalent) or at least two years of experience in a mental health setting.
- Strong understanding of mental health, recovery, and co-production.
- Experience in collaborative work with professionals, services, and communities.
- Knowledge in care planning, risk assessment, recovery tools, and the Mental Health Act.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and group facilitation skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in IT systems, especially electronic case management.
- Resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to person-centred, trauma-informed practice while maintaining professional boundaries.
