As an Intervention Worker at Hestia, you will play a crucial role in our Highbury Approved Premises. Your contributions will directly influence the lives of our service users, guiding them towards a path of empowerment and independence. A day will never look the same and some of the things you can expect to do/be responsible for are:

  • Supporting high-risk individuals transitioning from prison back into the community.
  • Providing guidance, promoting positive behaviour, and helping residents build independence while maintaining a structured environment.
  • Preparing meals and supporting rehabilitation plans in collaboration with probation and external agencies.
  • Ensuring residents follow rules such as curfews and drug/alcohol testing.
  • Assisting in running and documenting activities, completing daily tasks, and keeping the premises safe, clean, and secure through regular checks and communication.
  • Empowering residents to take responsibility for their own lives, while providing support and supervision as needed.
