Right now, we are looking for a Specialist Homelessness Coordinator to play a pivotal role in our Homelessness Service in London.
This service is a payment-by-results initiative that centres on achieving specified outcomes for a caseload of single homeless refugees. This involves providing holistic support in formulating and executing integration plans, securing and sustaining accommodation in the private rented sector and promoting integration into their new community.

Here's what the team will be looking for: To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of housing and homelessness legislation, including the Homelessness Reduction Act, private rented sector regulations, eviction processes, and tenants' rights. You will bring knowledge and experience of welfare benefits legislation, welfare reform, and health and safety requirements. You should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the causes of homelessness and the ability to design effective interventions that support clients in sustaining or securing accommodation.
You will thrive in a fast-paced, outcome-focused environment, with the ability to manage a busy caseload while meeting service targets and deadlines. Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills are essential, along with a solution-focused, proactive attitude and excellent organisational skills. You will be confident using databases and IT systems as part of your daily work, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping. A flexible, socially conscious team player with a βcan-do' approach, you will be skilled at building positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners, all while working in line with our values to deliver meaningful outcomes.
