You will be supporting service users with complex needs to build independence and take control of their wellbeing, facilitating their recovery and supporting them on their journey. This service currently requires people to sleep in at the service. You will be dealing with incidents and recording your interactions with service users.
What do I need to bring with me? You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. You don't have to tick all the boxes right away; the important thing is that you're willing to learn. Here's what the team will be looking for: We are seeking people with either experience in supporting people with mental health or a Psychology qualification and some applied experience supporting people in person. You need to have a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and put service users first. We operate a trauma-informed and service user-led support function which requires you to have good empathy and be open-minded.
