Right now, we are looking for a Group Facilitator to play a pivotal role in our Complex Needs Service in Notting Hill.
Sounds great, what will I be doing?
This role supports the day centre team in delivering a rolling activity programme, fostering a safe and engaging environment for service users. It involves creating and reviewing person-centered support plans using the recovery approach, facilitating access to medical and community services, and minimizing hospital admissions for mental health relapse. The role also includes developing interventions for hard-to-engage users, liaising with external agencies, and promoting ongoing user involvement with support networks.

Here\βs what the team will be looking for
You will have experience of working with people requiring support around mental ill health and complex needs, with the ability to facilitate activity or support groups that promote engagement and recovery. You will bring excellent knowledge of the signs, symptoms, and treatments of mental illness, alongside the ability to assess when a service user\βs mental health is declining and take appropriate, timely action.
With a strong understanding of key working, person-centred support planning, and recovery approaches, you will be committed to empowering individuals to achieve their goals. In addition, you will have a sound knowledge of safeguarding and the ability to address issues effectively, ensuring that the safety and wellbeing of service users is always prioritised.
