Right now, we are looking for a Counselling Administrator to play a pivotal role in our Counselling and Therapeutic service in London. Sounds great, what will I be doing? The Counselling Administrator role sits within the Integrated Student Team and provides support to the Therapeutic Services. The Therapeutic Services is led by the Head of Student and Therapeutic Services and is innovative in its development and implementation of therapeutic, trauma informed support for the people that use Hestia\'s services. They will be responsible for working alongside Therapeutic Services to coordinate the delivery of clinical assessments and student volunteer counsellor placements. They will be booking Counselling assessments with clients, coordinate the therapy waiting list & act as a point of contact for staff and clinicians. They will be trained to complete counselling assessments where appropriate. They will be completing any other admin tasks as required. What do I need to bring with me? Here\'s what the team will be looking for The role requires a minimum Level 4 counselling qualification, supported by strong interpersonal and reflective skills and a solid understanding of a range of theoretical approaches, underpinned by knowledge of the BACP ethical framework. The postholder must demonstrate excellent organisational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities while working collaboratively as a key member of the team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, alongside proficiency in IT systems including Microsoft Office and web-based platforms. The role also demands scheduling and coordinating expertise, effective administrative and data analysis skills, and the ability to plan service provision in partnership with others.
