In this role, you will use your specialist knowledge of housing legislation, including the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017, to prevent and relieve homelessness through timely, proactive interventions. You will conduct comprehensive assessments and develop co-produced Personal Housing Plans that empower clients to resolve their housing issues where possible. By maintaining accurate, up-to-date records and following up on all actions promptly, you will ensure that risks of homelessness are minimised and statutory duties are met effectively.

- You will bring knowledge, experience, or relevant qualifications in housing and homelessness legislation, including private rented housing, the Homelessness Reduction Act, eviction processes, and tenants' rights.
- You will also have a good understanding of welfare benefits legislation and health and safety, alongside experience addressing the causes of homelessness and developing effective interventions with service users.
- Comfortable working in a target-driven environment, you will be highly organised, able to manage a busy caseload, prioritise competing demands, and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality outcomes.
- You will be a strong communicator with excellent relationship-building skills, able to work collaboratively with colleagues, partners, and the wider community.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach is essential, along with the ability to work independently with a high degree of responsibility and autonomy.
- You will be confident using IT systems and databases, maintaining accurate case records and reporting.
