Our mission is to empower individuals to rebuild their lives and achieve independence. Right now, we are looking for a Recruitment Specialist to play a pivotal role in our Recruitment Team.
We're looking for a proactive and collaborative recruiter to join our team and support hiring across our services. You'll work closely with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs, identify ideal candidate profiles, and source talent through a variety of channels including CV databases, professional networks, and talent pools. You'll conduct thorough screenings to assess candidates' skills and values, attend local recruitment events, and build strong relationships with job centres, universities, and colleges. You'll also work with our volunteering team to promote internal opportunities and support the development of a strong talent pipeline.
In addition to sourcing and engaging candidates, you'll coordinate recruitment activities to ensure timely advertising and a smooth candidate experience in line with organisational policies. You'll maintain oversight of vacancies, utilise our applicant tracking system to build talent pools, and ensure compliance with legal and internal standards. Your role will also involve conducting exit interviews, analysing recruitment data, and identifying internal talent for upcoming opportunities. We're looking for a passionate and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Hestia. With at least two years' proven experience in a talent acquisition or resourcing role, you'll be confident in building talent pools, filling hard-to-fill roles, and using CV databases, Boolean searches, and Applicant Tracking Systems to source top candidates. Ideally, you'll bring experience from the health & social care or charity sector, along with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You'll be a collaborative team player who can also work independently, with a deep understanding of recruitment best practices, candidate experience, and employer value proposition. Most importantly, you'll be motivated by Hestia's mission and values, and have diversity and inclusion at the heart of everything you do.
