Right now, we are looking for a Recovery Workers to play a pivotal role in our Thanet Crisis the important thing is that you're willing to learn. We are looking for someone with experience of supporting people experiencing mental health difficulties and complex needs within a mental health, social care, housing, crisis or community-based setting. You will have a good understanding of the impact that mental health crisis can have on individuals and be confident in delivering person-centred, recovery-focused support that is strengths-based, trauma-informed and psychologically informed. You will be comfortable working with people experiencing significant emotional distress and able to recognise changes in presentation, assess risk and respond appropriately within the boundaries of a non-clinical role. You will be a collaborative and compassionate professional with a strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management, confidentiality and professional boundaries. You'll be able to work effectively with a range of professionals, services and partner agencies, maintain accurate records using electronic systems, and demonstrate a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of your work. An understanding of co-production and the importance of involving people with lived experience in shaping support is also essential.
