About The Role
Would you like a new and exciting role as a Support Worker at our Adult's Service Dragonby Road in Scunthorpe? A career as a Support Worker is incredibly rewarding, challenging and offers a level of job satisfaction you won’t find elsewhere. You will be joining a team whose focus is to provide support of the highest quality, safeguard and promote the needs of the people we support.
You will be supporting adults with learning disabilities and intensive specialist support needs with their daily routines, supporting them to live life to their full potential and access experiences and activities. We are seeking candidates who want to be involved and support these activities. If you live outside of Scunthorpe, a Driving Licence and vehicle would be required as due to the location, public transport is not available at the correct times.
You will have a FIXED rota of 4 days on and 2 days off. This includes 2 morning shifts (07:00 - 14:30) and 2 afternoon shifts (13:45 - 22:00). This is a rewarding, fulfilling and important role and an opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of the people who live at Dragonby Road.
Due to current workforce planning requirements, we are currently prioritising applications from candidates with indefinite leave to remain or settled status in the UK, but we continue to welcome applications from all candidates regardless of their sponsorship/settled status.
About You
We are looking for Support Workers who have a ‘can do’ attitude, outgoing and caring but have a calm demeanor when needed. You don’t have to have experience but just the right attitude and share our values. We will ensure you receive first class training when you join us and throughout your career at Hesley Group. We will support you with progression opportunities throughout your career with us. We will support you through your Level 2 qualification so you become a fully qualified Support Worker. You will be joining a company who values its employees.
