We are looking to appoint a Team Leader to join our largest specialist residential service, Meadow View. There are two distinct aspects to the role of a Team Leader: a direct support role to the people who use our services and a management function. You will be responsible for the general supervision of the direct care provision of support staff to ensure that the people who use our services receive a complete person-centred care service.

Mentoring, supervising, coaching and assessing support workers' practice is the primary focus of this role along with influencing staff performance and acting as an excellent role model.

You must hold a Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care and be prepared to achieve your level 3 within two years of taking up the post, as well as having significant experience of care support work at a standard assessed as competent in all aspects of the role. This is a great opportunity for someone with the right skills to gain experience in a management role.

You will be joining a team who are passionate about safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the people we support and a company that values its employees. If you are a patient, caring and understanding individual, working with the Hesley Group will prove to be a fulfilling and rewarding career.

Due to current workforce planning requirements, we are currently prioritising applications from candidates with indefinite leave to remain or settled status in the UK, but we continue to welcome applications from all candidates regardless of their sponsorship/settled status.

Benefits of working for us:

  • Continuous support and feedback through 1:1 supervision
  • 6 weeks holiday
  • Ongoing free mandatory and development training days
  • Regular promotion opportunities
  • Pension scheme
  • Black Hawk Scheme
  • Access to our employee assistance programme, which includes physiotherapy and counselling services

Our Commitment to Inclusion

We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive culture where everyone feels valued. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and communities because we know that different perspectives make us stronger. Hesley Group are proud to be a Living Wage Employer, ensuring every one of our colleagues is paid at least the real living wage, reflecting the true cost of living. It’s our commitment to fairness, a recognition of skill and a heartfelt thank you to the incredible people who make what we do possible.
