We are looking to recruit a compassionate and dedicated support worker to support a gentleman living at Low Laithes, our adult residential service in Wombwell, Barnsley. You will play a vital role in delivering person-centred care, supporting an individual to live a meaningful, fulfilling life tailored to his preferences, routines, and goals. The gentleman you’ll be supporting is polite, with a warm sense of humour that shines through once trust is built. He enjoys being active outdoors, playing games, engaging with sensory activities, relaxing with DVDs, and sharing good-quality meals. He benefits from a calm, predictable environment and values relationships with staff who understand him well and support him consistently.
